I think I got first introduced 14-ish years ago, when I was WAAAAAAAAAY wittle, cause the first thing I remember watching was Batman and Robin and I got the action figures.
So it couldn't have been that long after the movie came out.
EDIT: OH fine, this is random then: You all just lost the game.

Long time ago, around the age of elementary schooling, I was surfing the channels on tv and came across the scene in Batman Returns where Selina is transformed into Catwoman.
My sister came into the room when she was all twitchy and had cats gnawing on her bloody fingers and promptly told me that 'I was watching a bad movie' and that she was 'going to tell mother!'
RRRRRR.
So yeah, needless to say, being the scared little child i was of my mom's wrath, I changed the channel.
I must have flipped back to it every once in a while though, because when I watched Batman Returns five years ago, the scene between Penguin and Max Schreck in the sewer stood out to me. D: I was all like 'omg I remember this scene!' -wipes tear-

Um...let's see...probably something like 20 years ago? My Dad has an oober collection of old Silver Age DC comics in the basement from when he was a kid, and we used to read them together when I was little. From then on, of course, I was hooked, particularly on Batman, though Superman, Green Lantern, and Flash all got some quality time as well (and y'know the Justice League since they were ALL in it at some point). I was Robin for Halloween when I was 11, and I'm a big fan of the movies for said heroes above that have been made so far (if anyone wants to have an in depth discussion about pros and cons of the Batman anthology, I'd love to chat ). I'm also a big fan of Batman the Animated Series (both from then and now; the wonders of DVD's). On that point (kinda), Batman (1989) is one of my ALL TIME favorite movies, and I believe still the best Batman flick out there today. Also, is anyone else as excited for the Green Lantern film scheduled to come out next year?!?!? Marvel's been going crazy expanding their movieverse, and I'm glad to see DC starting to follow suit. Justice League on the horizon anyone?? *is hopeful*

tee hee!
when i was little, maybe like nine/ten and my mom worked at a little drug store i would come with her to work and pull comics off the little rack of them and go in the back and read them all day.
and i was obsessed with BTAS as a tot and then got into justice league. my twelve year old birthday party was superman & batman themed. yeah. that cool.
and had a book, like a novel of the 1989 batman movie. and then watched all the others and YES.
and then i just got more into the universe and found zatanna and fell in love with her and started to role play her a few years ago. annnndd thats pretty much it!
