hair;;
Sandra has very short hair. One way to describe it is a "mom cut". She used to have very long hair, which reached past her mid-back; she as since cut it for job-reasons. When not out on a job, the woman usually wears extensions, or she'll wear a wig if she's feeling particularly creative. She doesn't like her short hair; it's just that she has to have it that way.
eyes;;
She has almond shaped eyes with barely-there eyebrows and eyelashes. Drawing in eyebrows and applying fake lashes have become something of a habit for her. Her eyes are so dark that it is impossible to see her irises from a casual talking distance. Don't even try to look for them; it's not like you'd be able to get that close.
height;;
5' 8''
weight;;
141 lbs
build;;
She's pretty tall for her heritage. Because of her constant exercise, Sandra is particularly strong. She's as defined as a woman can get without being on steroids.
piercings;;
Ears
tattoos;;
none
style;;
In order to be able to go grocery shopping without being ambushed by ten bounty hunters, Sandra has to dress normally when she goes outside. She does like to be fashionable, picking up a few things from either H&M or dropping by Lord&Taylor. Being a regular girl, Sandra splurges occasionally on Chanel bags. Many Chanel bags. However, she'd much prefer to walk around in a traditional, cultural dress; she does this when she's at her apartment (once in a blue moon will she wear it on the job). When she does go out for a job, she will wear her signature scarlet catsuit with light armor around the forearms and a utility belt filled with an unspeakable number of tools. Let's just say she likes to come prepared for anything.
And I'll take your hand and pick you up[/size]

strengths;;
Sandra is remarkably talented in martial arts; in fact, she's mastered most of the aspects. She would adore having a fight with Batman, who she recognizes as a worthy opponent. It's commonly debated whether she is the most talented martial artist in the world.
The woman is very resourceful; she can make a weapon out of almost anything. Throw a paper clip at her, she'll poke your eye out with it. She's discovered that a tire is great for suffocating people. Toss her a hose and...Well, I don't think you really want to know what she'll do to you.
Sandra is very flexible, in addition to being on the strong side.
She's also decently intelligent; it's almost required when you've got her occupation. She can read body language fairly well, but isn't a total genius at it. Occasionally, Sandra can assume correctly when her opponent is about to attack or defend themselves in a certain way.
Not to mention her stealth. She'll be in front of you one second and all the way on the other side of town in the next. She could be in front of you, then behind you in a flash; oh but wait, now she's above you. Then she's gone. And you'll never know how she does it, either.
weaknesses;;
Sandra becomes very vulnerable whenever her immediate family is mentioned. She wasn't particularly close with anyone besides her sister, and she's dead. Bring it up in a fight, and you'll find she'll be in quite a predicament.
She suffers from arthritis in her back. Since she absolutely detests procrastinating, she will often carry out a heist even when suffering from a particularly agonizing episode. This obviously does not help her condition at all; in fact, it makes it all the more painful to her.
The woman is partially blind in her left eye. Sandra refuses to wear any sort of contacts or get laser eye surgery, rambling that it has something to do with her culture. As a result, there is a hole in her defenses on her left side.
It's nearly impossible for her to trust someone. Even if they could prove themselves to be a worthy ally, she would never accept them into a "circle-of-friends". The concept of a friend never seemed to settle very well with her. Truth be told, she's been screwed over so many times in her past that she really doesn't want to bother with it anymore.
She has a paralyzing fear of the water.
quirks/habits;;
Sandra has a bad habit of scrunching her nose up whenever she gets confused or angry. It makes her normally flat nose look like a giant piggy-nose. It gets all wrinkly at the ends, and it really isn't a pretty sight.
She likes to crack her knuckles. A lot. Oh, and her toes, too! She doesn't believe in the whole "cracking your joints with give you arthritis!" shtick. She has never cracked her back and almost every day of her life is stricken with a nearly paralyzing pain. So she believes that, no, cracking your joints does not give you freaking arthritis.
The woman will often color-code things that can be color-coded. Believe me, there are plenty of things that can be color-coded. She likes to color-code folders, binders, paperwork, her closet, you name it. She can color-code it like the color-coding devil. Color-code.
Sandra will often brush her teeth more than four times a day. One extremely painful trip to the dentist earned her a cleaning, and it has scarred her for life.
She can make a clover-shape with her tongue and has been able to do this ever since she turned five years old. No one else in her immediate family can do it, and she loves it.
goals/dreams;;
to have a fight to the death with Batman
to have a fight to the death with her daughter (when old enough)
to kill David Cain
to start her own clothing line
to find her real purpose in life
overall personality;;
Sandra is extremely ambitious. She desperately strives to one day find her true purpose in life--being the best assassin in the world wouldn't hurt. The woman is a very hard-worker, pushing herself past her limits almost every day just to get that measly little bit more of strength and agility. Perhaps the fact that she likes to exercise and train herself helps, but it certainly is no easy task. She doesn't have a very good sense of humor, and she doesn't usually get a lot of jokes that are told to her. Most of the time, she'll just question the joke in a logical way. i.e. "Why did the chicken cross the road?" "Why" "To get to the other side!" "Why didn't the chicken simply glide across the road? It would've been much safer and quicker--it could probably fly over a small sedan or something."
It's very difficult for her to truly love something, especially after the loss of her sister. Her sister may have been the only person she truly loved with all of her heart. David Cain is a ridiculous proposal--she absolutely detests him. She only agreed to bear him a child because he saved her life; she owed him. Sandra didn't want to spend the rest of her life in debt to a guy that didn't know when to shut up about himself or his stupid boyfriend. She doesn't really care what he does with her child; she knows the kid will find her in the end, if she's anything like her. Then again, she could always take after her dad and be a complete moron at everything. She actually doubted at one point that he could open a jar of pickles without having to ask for help. Literally. Everything.
Sometimes she takes herself too seriously. It's really hard for her to let go and relax; she's never been able to do so her entire life. She's always had to pretty much fight for what she wanted; the only person that sort of handed her a revelation was David Cain. And he was stupid. At times, she does wonder what may have happened had her sister lived. Maybe she could've gone on with a normal life--probably not. Sandra was still far too ambitious back then to not crave something more than her simple life. A past-time that always seemed to calm her down, though, was playing sports. She wasn't subjective to just one sport; she played a variety. Tennis, Volleyball, and Softball were a few of her favorites in her childhood years. She dabbled in a little bit of Track and tried Gymnastics for a few weeks. They got a little too boring for her--not enough action. She loves fencing, however.

She wasn't always the favorite. In fact, she had never been the favorite. Carolyn had been short. Carolyn had been pale. Carolyn had perfect skin. She was the ideal daughter, to their parents, while Sandra had grown into a lanky figure, had a yellow-ish complexion, and had freckles dotted along the bridge of her nose and cheeks. All of her life she had to deal with "Carolyn is so good" and "Why can't you be like Carolyn?". Especially from her father. Sandra does remember the days of her childhood! Who doesn't, when you have a past like hers? She does reminisce; she does miss it. But did she love her time as a child? No, she did not. In fact, she very much appreciates being an adult right now. Being a kid was too complicated, too many people involved in her life. She appreciates being alone and on her own terms. Then a question rises in her head--did she hate her parents?
No, she did not hate her parents. They fed her, clothed her, and raised her under a sufficiently large roof. Who she did hate was her sister. She also loved her to bits. They had started practicing martial arts ever since they had turned 5, when the two girls saw a very cheesy and predictable Bruce Lee movie. Sandra could easily beat the crap out of him, if the opportunity had ever been given. But she would not beat the crap out of him, for he was the one that had inspired her and Carolyn. Carolyn until she had turned 10 and grew up--Sandra for the rest of her life. So they had practiced and practiced. They had practiced until they had broken legs, broken toes, pulled muscles, and on one occasion a torn ligament. There was something different about Sandra, though. While Carolyn was studying for a math test, or creating an intricate biology project, Sandra was tearing apart a punching bag at the gym. When Carolyn was hanging out with friends and shopping, Sandra was tearing apart a punching bag at the gym.
She would never use the same sort of force on her sister, though--she loved her sister, did she not? She did not have the hatred nor confidence in herself to truly every harm her sister. As a result, Sandra held back a great deal in their spars. Even at state-wide competitions for kung-fu, she never did defeat her sister. The pair excelled so much at martial arts that they had even gotten to go nation-wide with their skills. Still, Sandra did never allow herself to win a single match against Carolyn. This was gave many others the impression that Carolyn was better than her sister, just like in everything else. Sandra was just a useless bag of meat. Everyone thought she was just a loser. That was until they had that sparring competition in New York City. It had started off as a normal spar, and despite the fact that they were both nearly 20, they still greatly enjoyed traveling around with each other. Never had she known that this one spar would change her life forever.
There had been a man spectating there that day. That man had taken an unhealthy interest in the two sisters, watching their match very intently. Sandra didn't know how he had done it, but he had somehow identified that she was holding back in her attacks through her body language. He had indeed tried to approach her, but the crowd would not let him through. Sandra and Carolyn had gone home perfectly happy with their results that day. They lived in the same apartment building and had departed at the 13th floor. That next morning, Sandra went to go see her sister in her apartment. The door was locked. She was suspicious. The woman slowly crept into the apartment building, catching the faintest whiff of blood from the bedroom. When she burst through the bedroom door, she immediately shrieked and collapsed to the ground. Her sister was on the bed, half-naked and her eyes open like silver-dollars. She was covered and smeared with red. Blood. There was a man next to her, giving Sandra a simple, blank expression.
Sandra immediately assumed the worst and lunged at him, only to be kicked back into her pitiful corner. He stood up and loomed over her. He was at least 15 years older than her. Sandra was scared; she did not want to be there anymore. He started blabbering about some character that he served, and she didn't really care. He said that he had watched her sister and her spar, and she started to become interested.
"I know you're better than her. I know you could kill her..."
She didn't really want to listen to him anymore, but she couldn't stop herself. She liked what he was saying. That was why he had killed Carolyn, because he had deemed Sandra more worthy of life. Because Sandra was better than Carolyn. It was Sandra he liked. Emotions fluttered through her entire body, her heart racing. She wasn't really listening when he had asked her for a child; she was too busy thinking about herself. All her life she had been 2nd to Carolyn. Carolyn had always been put on the pedestal, and now he was doing this to her? She was better than Carolyn--she could have killed her. He was right. It was at that moment that Sandra had another life thrown at her. It was at that moment that Sandra discovered her true self. She was going to live for herself from now on; she was Lady Shiva. He repeated his question to her again, and she was completely shocked this time. She didn't even know this man, and he was asking that much of her? Did she even have feelings for him? At all?
Maybe...A little.
So she agreed. She lived with him for the nine months, conceived, and left. Sandra had indeed contemplated raising the child with him, but that was ridiculous. He knew that he would never love her, and she deserved better. She was--HEY.
I think that's enough. You're so annoying. You don't even know me. Alright, yes, I had a child with David Cain, but who cares? He's annoying, like YOU. All he talks about with other people is that stupid man he serves. He has know mind of his own; he's just a stupid little robot. And no, I d-DON'T care about him. I just don't. I'm so glad I didn't raise that stupid brat with him--could you imagine that? Uck, she probably acts like him. That's just why I want to fight with her, so I can kill her. Anything that has any of that man's blood in it deserves to die just as much as he does. The kid has me in her too, though...That should be an interesting fight. One that I would certainly want to be present for.
