She is also very insecure and unsure of herself. As time passes she opens up to her team members but still she keeps to herself.
Raven is considered creepy by Beast Boy and even she knows it to be true. She is often cold and emotionless and even shy. On the other hand she is very witty and almost always has a sarcastic comment on hand.
Raven is also very mature and has a good grasp on her emotions (well duh). She doesn't think violence is always the answer and had it not been for her suggesting this to Robin when he was battling Starfire the titans may not be as they are today.

Raven landed swiftly onto the ground. She closed the path she'd been travelling on with her soul self and pushed a stray strand of hair out of her eyes. She was so occupied clearing her sight that it took her to notice the giant black forcefield/shield thing in front of her, covering where Jump City should have been.
Raven looked over the massive darkness surrounding the city. According to her calculations she was standing in the exact spot where the bridge leading into Jump City should have been. She lowered her hood and looked around for a moment. She tried to find a break of some sort in the energy flow of the forcefield, but alas, the shield was perfectly intact.
Raven had been expecting something like this, but didn't realize it was so serious. For the past two years Rae had been in the hidden moutains of central asia (okay I made all that up, but pretend its where Robin went in the episode The Quest). She had been watching over the lands as a gaurdian, but also had kept an inner eye on Jump City.
Of course, from such a distance, Raven could only feel the vibes that pulsed in Jump City. As time passed by she noticed she was feeling less & less from Jump City & recently she lost all feelings whatsoever. Immediantly Raven had left the temple in the mountain to come check on her former home... With a heavy heart she looked upon the destruction, or what she figured was destruction.
Slowly her thoughts drifted away to that day 2 years ago... The way each of the Titans had looked at her when she left.
Starfire had tears in her eyes that day and she had barely even hugged Raven before she walked out. Starfire was already suffering from Robin's loss & Raven leaving didn't do any justice to the beautiful alien girl.
Cyborg's left eye, Raven noticed, had been not nearly as bright red as usual. Even Cyborg was distraught about her leaving. Raven hugged him tightly that day, asking him to take care of Starfire, and the T-car which she had helped re-build.
If Beast Boy had tried to stop her from leaving Raven would have stayed with the titans forever. But Beast Boy didn't, he simply patted her on the back and muttered "good luck." Raven didn't need to feel his emotions to know he was broken just as she was.
Now everytime she played it back in her head the fights were stupid & she couldn't even remember who had ended their relationship and why.
Raven had left the tower silently after her farewell to Beast Boy. She had contemplated many times running back into the tower and telling Beast Boy she loved him... But she never had the guts to, she was too prideful & if she had run back in there would be no roleplay so it was for the better she kept walking away from the tower. (Bahhaaha xD)
Deep down Raven knew she did what had to be done, the Titan's paths were drifting apart, each of their talents were needed elsewhere. Of course that didn't mean what she did was right in her heart, abandoning her friends like that, walking out like--
Raven pushed those thoughts from her head as she heard a strange whirring noise. Was it coming from inside the black hole? Raven inched closer when she all of a sudden felt pressure on her, pulling her closer to the vortex. She tried to fight it but the force was too strong. Instead she was collided into the blackness and everything went dark.
When she could finally open her eyes everything was white. Had she died? ...No she couldn't have because she would never get to heaven being partial demon. She blinked a few times before realizing she was in Jump City... or a place that strongly resembled Jump. It was as if the city had expanded though, no longer just a city, Raven could see mountains to her right. She turned around in the direction she'd been sucked into. If this was the old Jupm city she would only be a few feet away from where she had been outside the portal, in the middle of the bridge.
But she was no longer standing on a bridge, instead she was on a sort of white cement path & after a second she realized she wasn't the only one. There were many other pedestrians on the walkway. Raven started walking farther along the bridge when she saw people begin to stop and point at her. It was easy to hear their whispers.
"Who is she?" "Where did she come from?" "She doesn't belong here!"
"SHE DOESN'T BELONG HERE" became the phrase ALL the voices were now saying. Raven turned around to run back to where she came from, but when she truned she realized there was no sign of the portal, only thick hazy white fog.
Raven gasped as she saw two hooded figures coming towards her. "Attention citizens! There is an intrudor amongst us, fear not, two of our government officials have been sent for her immediate capture. Go on about your business, & fear not." A loud powerful voice sounded all throughout the city/country & Raven noticed all the white garbed citizens had gone back to walking around ignoring her, but there were still two cloaked figures coming towards her.
Following suit Raven puller up her hood & levitated high above the pathway. She tried sending down "energy bolts" (whatever the black stuff is) down to stop the cloaks, but they dodged every blow. Instead of trying to fight Raven took off flying, fast as she could.
Robin. This was all Robin's fault! The idea of leaving the Teen Titans had NEVER crossed her mind until Robin left first. The day he left was very unexpected. He had tried to keep on his leader-gaze as he told Cyborg he was now in charge of the Titans, but Raven could see right through his cheap mask. Robin was also scared & unsure about leaving & most importantly he was upset about the friends he was leaving behind *cough* Beautiful alien *cough*.
After Robin left everything fell apart. Starfire moped all the time & Beast Boy and Raven began fighting over everything. Cyborg had tried to keep everything together, but he was no , match for the toubled teens. Raven was the next one to leave & never look back on Jump City. Where the rest of the titans were now was beyond her.
As she landed in a deserted street to catch her breath she muttered Robin's name followed by some very un-ladylike words. If she ever lived through this, if she ever saw Robin again, she would kill him.
