Basically Cyborg is very laid back. He has lots of friends of many backgrounds. He likes to hang out and just have fun (as most teens do). He knows when it is time to get serious and when its time to chill. He also is constantly tinkering with gadgets and upgrading his Cybernetic parts. This led cyborg to be the tech guy of the teen titans, Cyborg keeps all of the titans gear up to date and all the vehicles in top condition.
Cyborg is very smart for his age and has the knowledge to back it up. His I.Q is 170 due to the experiments his parents did on him as a kid. He did resent this later in his childhood but now he is kind of glad in a way because he has the IQ and knowledge level to work on his Cybernetic limbs. He still longs to have his human body back to become the athlete he has always wanted to be but he has learned to be happy with his current body ( better than nubs).

Cyborg’s story starts in the early days of his life. Both his parents were researchers for S.T.A.R. Labs. There they did intelligence enhancing experiments on their young son Victor. These experiments led to young victors IQ being enhance to 170. Later on he resented his knowledge level and kept some pretty bad company, Ron Evers was the person Victor hung around the most. Despite Ron’s bad influence Victor refused to take part in young Ron’s terrorism plots. I guess deep down Victor knew that it was wrong.
Victors whole life changed dramatically changed one day when he was visiting his parents at S.T.A.R. Labs. Victor’s parents were doing an experiment on dimensional travel. This experiment would change the Stone family’s lives forever. A monster of a gelatin nature came through the portal and killed Victor’s mother. The monster satisfied with its kill turned to the young Victor and severely mutilated him. Victors father pushed the monster back through the portal and sealed it off. Immediately Victors Father performed surgery on Victor. Silas began to attach new prosthetic limbs he had designed to his son. The operation was very successful but a lot of Victor’s body had been badly damaged. When victor woke up he was severely upset that most of his body had been replaced by shiny metal. At first Victor was so disgusted with how he looked he wanted to die. This was mainly do to rejection after he was released from therapy. He lost a lot of friends and even his girlfriend at the time. Over time he learned to be happy with how he looked and became very proficient with his prosthetics .
Wanting to use Victors hardship to his advantage Ron Evers tried to get Victor to help in a plot against the UN. Victor did not take part in this terrorism attack, but rather had found a new calling. Equipping his prosthetics with weapons systems and other gadgets he went on to stop his old friend on the attack of the UN building. Having spoiled Ron’s plans against the UN, Victor came out of the fight well as the victor. After this Victor went to join a group of teens who were outcast or had superpowers. This group of teens were called the Teen Titans. He first joined the titans as kind of a support group for “teens like him”. Later on Victor came to be known as Cyborg due mostly to his prosthetic limbs and knowledge of electronics.

The sound of a drill hums as he installs the last few screws for his new gadget. Normally a set of Night Vision Goggles was something he could make within a few hours, but this set was special. Beast boy had been having a problem using these goggles when he would change from animal to animal. More than once he had either lost a set or broke them depending on what animal he turned into. Out of their friendship Cyborg wanted to make a pair of custom goggles for Beast Boy. The last screw was set. It was now time to call in his best friend for his surprise.
